When I received it, I didn't expect to have so many of THE ART BOOK's images in postcard form. Happily, not only was I pleasantly surprised, so many of my favorite images were included. However, not all of my faves, like ANDY WARHOL, were included. Fortunately, artworks by lesser known artists, like JIM DINE & WAYNE THIEBAUD -- artists that I admire even MORE than Warhol -- I was even MORE pleasantly surprised! WHAT A FIND!Product details

This collection didn't disappoint. There's a wide range of artists and styles represented. There's a nice blurb on the back of each postcard explaining a bit about the piece. Send more mail! Your friends and family (and the postal service) will appreciate you!
These postcards come from Phaidon's amazing coffee table book "The Art Book." The reproductions are beautiful, and the cards of very tough quality stock. I use them as writing prompts in workshops, but they are also just beautiful as postcards or even for decoration. You will not be disappointed.
I cannot wait to give some of these out to my students at the end of the semester!
I wish the images filled the entire card. Some have a large white border.
The quality of the coloring is inadequate, but the variety of prints is excellent for the price.
I bought this set specifically for postcard exchange. About 25 cards are too plain/boring/muddy colors to send so it's really 75 cards for almost 15 bucks which is an OK price. The captions on the back are extremely well-written and informative. However the cards themselves are ho hum. Good Dufy card though. ART BOX POSTCARDS" contain many Christian and nude themes. Best thing about this collection is the pretty box!!!
the reproductions were unbelievably dark and muddy. as seen here the Bonnard postcard looks like the main color is a dark brown gray when Bonnard is airy, light and bursting with bright primary/secondary colors. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
